SERVE IN SPRING BRANCH ISD

Dear SBISD Partners and Community,

We know these are unprecedented times – and we know ours is an unparalleled community in the ways you support SBISD. While you may not have been able to do all you intended to last school year, we know many of you went above and beyond to support our community.

Help us recognize you!

If you completed two or more activities in support of SBISD or the Spring Branch Education Foundation (SBEF) during the 2019-20 school year, click here to apply to be a Class of 2020 Good Neighbor by September 1.

Since 2007, SBISD’s Good Neighbor Program has recognized, encouraged and celebrated strategic support of our schools, staff, students, or SBEF. Traditionally, partners complete three or more activities in a school year to earn the Good Neighbor designation. Good Neighbors are given a recognition item we hope you proudly display, and are celebrated through district communication channels and events. This year, we will continue to recognize our Good Neighbors so our community can celebrate you. Returning Good Neighbors will receive a sticker to add to your existing banner or plaque, and new Good Neighbors will receive a digital badge.

Ready to begin earning your Good Neighbor designation for the 2020-21 school year? Below are some of our current needs:
  • Provide virtual or contactless teacher appreciation opportunities
  • Become an Xtra Credit partner
  • Sponsor a classroom teacher’s Mini Grant request
  • Adopt a campus without a PTA
To get started, contact [email protected]. To learn more about the Good Neighbor program, and to see a list of past Good Neighbors, click here.

One of the greatest strengths of SBISD is the unwavering support of our community. Thank you for your support during ordinary times and during extraordinary times. Our Collective Greatness shines bright because of your partnership and support.

We look forward to hearing from you,
SBISD Community Relations
