SBISD Hurricane Harvey FAQs

Spring Branch ISD’s T-2-4 goal is to double the number of students who graduate from SBISD and go on to complete some form of higher education, be it a technical certification, military training, or a two- or four-year degree. SBISD is looking for volunteers eager to support T-2-4 through the gift of your time, your talents, or your treasure.

You can serve as an individual volunteer in a number of ways, including as a Junior Achievement classroom volunteer, reading buddy, guest speaker, or mentor. You can also serve as a mentor through the SpringBoard Mentoring Program or the Collegiate Challenge Mentoring Program. Through the SpringBoard Mentoring Program, mentors serve as supportive adults and advocates in the students’ lives. The Collegiate Challenge Mentoring Program pairs mentors with 11th and 12th grade students to assist with the college and scholarship application process. Click here for a list of New Mentor Training dates.

Your church can also build a relationship with a particular school and provide volunteers for initiatives that align directly with the campus’ T-2-4 goals. Click here for more information about volunteer opportunities or to apply today!

SBISD’s Good Neighbor Program recognizes and celebrates superlative partners across the district. By completing three or more strategic activities each year in support of the district, a campus, a classroom, or the Spring Branch Education Foundation, you become eligible to be named a Good Neighbor and are recognized at an annual dinner celebration. Visit the program page to see what SBISD’s Good Neighbors are doing to support the district!
