Praises and Prayers!

Praise God for these 5 new church-school partnerships!

  • Revelation Glory Church with Seguin Early Childhood Center (LCISD)
  • Apostolic Fire Church with Deady Middle School (Houston ISD)
  • Ashford United Methodist Church with West Briar Middle School (Houston ISD)
  • Kingdom Story Fellowship with Stevens Elementary (Houston ISD)
  • Christ Evangelical Presbyterian Church with The Lion Lane School (SBISD)

Pray with us that God would work through these partnerships, that children and teachers would be cared for in Jesus’ name, and that volunteers would experience their faith in a fresh new way as they build new relationships and serve.

Praise God for a new District Coordinator in Houston ISD! We now have 3 District Coordinators building relationships with churches and schools in specific school districts:

  • Melissa Emerson in Fort Bend ISD
  • Melissa Toon in Lamar Consolidated ISD
  • BJ Ramon in Houston ISD

Pray with us that God would grant them favor as they meet with church and school leaders. Pray that God would be working in the hearts and minds of these leaders before our coordinators even approach them – and pray for more churches to answer the call!

Pray with us as we look for more District Coordinators. Pray that God would introduce us to individuals who love Him and who love the idea of churches serving schools. Pray that God would, in His abundance, provide funding for these roles.

Praise God that 26 church-school partnership leaders have agreed to be Peer Mentors. Pray for these leaders as they lead their own volunteers in their church-school partnerships, and pray for wisdom as they encourage new leaders who are beginning the church-school partnership journey

Thank you for your partnership and prayers!!

P.S. We’re so grateful to The George Foundation, The Henderson-Wessendorff Foundation, and The Holthouse Foundation for Kids for funding our District Coordinators!
