Fort Bend ISD has always valued its community partners. This year, volunteers and community partners are needed more than ever before! See below for opportunities to love FBISD students and staff:

I. FBISD’s Learning Centers will provide a space with Internet access and adult supervision for students whose parents are FBISD staff or first responders, or who lack the needed technology.

Each Learning Center will need 20 volunteers serving 4 hour shifts:

  • Elementary: 7:30am-11:30am, 11:30am-3:30pm
  • Secondary: 9:30am-12:30pm, 12:30pm-3:30pm

  • Ridge Point: Sienna Crossing
  • Travis: Pecan Grove
  • Willowridge: Blue Ridge

If your church would like to partner with a specific school, please email Reba Cook at and Loretta Alanis at with the following information:

  • Church Name
  • Church Address
  • Contact Person and Contact Info (Phone Number and Email)
  • Is there a preferred school you wish to support? If yes, please list campus name.

Volunteers will need to receive FBISD safety training and complete a volunteer background check.

II. FBISD’s Shared Dreams is collecting food and toiletries for their students. Please contact Bobbie Anderson, Community Engagement Liaison, for questions and/or coordination of toiletry drop-offs at or 281-634-2916.

III. The Fort Bend Education Foundation is collecting funds to purchase iPads, laptops, WiFi access, food,  toiletries, and other necessities for FBISD students. Click here to give.
