Serving in Lamar Consolidated ISD

Hurricane Harvey Relief & Recovery Needs

If you’re interested in serving in Lamar Consolidated ISD, we would love to help facilitate connections between interested churches and schools. An online background check will need to be completed by all volunteers, and Loving Houston will hold periodic trainings for church leaders in conjunction with the district. Check out our Workshops page or contact us for details.

This year, LCISD has started a mentoring program! Click here for details.

There are also opportunities to serve at a district level…

  • Common Threads – Clothing and Resource Donations
  • ASAP – Activities Supporting Adolescent Parenting

…as well as opportunities to serve seasonally. Everyone can do something to help — we can connect you!

  • Fall: Thanksgiving Food Drive
  • Spring: Support for Graduating Seniors
  • Summer: Hope on the Brazos
